TYPES OF TECHNIQUES
Osteopathy, depending on the structure of the body where it is applied, uses different techniques:
Structural techniques: directed to the restoration of the musculoskeletal apparatus and posture, with special attention to the spine and to treat injuries.
Cranio-sacral techniques: directed to the cranial and sacral problems and to the central nervous system.
Visceral techniques: focused on the healing of organs and viscera. The function is improved by manipulation to achieve a better blood supply.
Fascial techniques: they achieve the harmonization of connective tissue using very soft techniques that try to harmonize these tissues.
